As a follow up to our presentation on January 22nd, we invite participants to comment here on aspects of online discussion that they find particularly interesting, troublesome, challenging, successful…

In addition, we are building a collection of resources related to Online Discussion and have added the presentation resources to this wiki. Please feel free to edit it or comment on the resources you have found useful.

The archive for the November 13 online seminar is now available. The seminar includes a literature review regarding blended courses, examples of blended courses, and a great discussion by the presenters and attendees on a number of topics related to teaching online. Enjoy!

The group formerly known as the WebCT Institutes has now re-grouped under the “Leading Campuses International Network” banner. Our goal is to provide a means of sharing best practices related to effective use of learning management systems and affiliated tools to enhance learning and teaching. Our first venture is to sponsor a series of online seminars in Fall and Spring of 2007-08. Linked to this post is the flyer for the seminars.

We’re flying a bit by the seat of our pants in this venture…. so please check back for more info (or subscribe to the RSS feed) for updates!
